about

Bursting onto the Aotearoa scene with the release of her debut album Between Bodies and hit single So Long Underground, Hannah Everingham quickly garnered attention for ‘feeling beamed out of a timeless realm’ (UTR) and her ‘palpable gift for songwriting’ (Lucy Pollock, Flying Nun). Hannah has opened for Tiny Ruins, Erny Belle, Ebony Lamb, Recitals, and Lawrence Arabia, and headlined across the country on her first national tour for single Mercury. On Friday Jan 12th Hannah Everingham shares new single Giving Up The Dog and announces the release of her sophomore album Siempre Tiene Flores, out on Vinyl & CD Friday March 15th.

Giving Up The Dog, the second single from forthcoming album Siempre Tiene Flores, features Doug Brush on percussion and vibraphone, Mike Kime on bass, and Thomas Isbister who recorded, mixed & co-produced the album with Hannah. The music video for Giving Up The Dog was shot by fellow Ōtautahi artist Sam Bambery.

“Evokes some of our finest local folk musicians, and is absolutely worthy of inclusion alongside them” (Tony Stamp, RNZ)

“Go see her!” (Robert Scott)

“I was immediately struck by Everingham’s stage presence… she has a palpable gift for songwriting" (Lucy Pollock, Flying Nun)

“Feeling beamed out of a timeless sonic realm” (Under The Radar)
